EDUCAUSE
EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. Some content is for members only, but much of the site is freely available to nonmembers. Special interest: EQ, EDUCAUSE Review, New Content.

The Electronic Campus
Access courses and programs offered by accredited colleges and universities in the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) states, which all meet the Principles of Good Practice developed by the Electronic Campus.

NCES: The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS),
The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that re related to education in the US and other nations. Special interest: Academic Libraries.

National Survey of Student Engagement
The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is designed to obtain, on an annual basis, information from scores of colleges and universities nationwide about student participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development.

College for Texans

Texas Administrators of Continuing Education for Community/Junior Colleges (TACE/CJC)
TACE/CJC is an organization of professionals in the field of continuing and workforce education who work in Texas community, junior, and technical colleges. It provides direct communication between state agencies and college administrators responsible for the development and implementation of courses and programs for continuing and workforce education.

The Texas Association of Community Colleges (TACC)
TACC is comprised of all 50 public community college districts in the state of Texas and represents the interests of the colleges before the Texas Legislature and state agencies.

Texas Community College Teachers Association (TCCTA)
TCCTA is the largest organization of postsecondary educators in Texas and is regularly is called upon to provide information and testimony to the Texas legislature and state agencies.

Texas Collaborative for Teaching Excellence
Funded through the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and administered by El Paso Community College, the Collaborative exists to support faculty at two-year colleges across Texas. Its purpose is to promote a collegial, cooperative approach to professional development statewide and provide an infrastructure to enable colleges to share resources and avoid duplication.

Texas Skill Standards Board (TSSB)
TSSB is an advisory body to the Governor and Legislature on the development of a statewide system of industry-defined and industry-recognized skill standards for all major skilled, sub-baccalaureate occupations that provide strong employment and earnings opportunities.

Virtual College of Texas
A collaborative effort of Texas community and technical colleges to provide access to online courses for Texans.
