Union is an advocate of individual rights. This site supports the mission
of the ACLU, and has information on many issues including the death penalty,

Commission on Civil Rights
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is an independent,
bipartisan agency first established by Congress in 1957
and reestablished in 1983. Probably of most interest
are the publications Getting Uncle Sam to Enforce
Your Civil Rights and Civil Rights Directory.
US Department
of Justice: Civil Rights Division The Civil Rights Division is the primary institution within
the federal government responsible for enforcing federal statutes prohibiting
discrimination on the basis of race, sex, handicap, religion, and national
origin. Access President Clinton's Speech on Affirmative Action,
selected cases and briefs involving civil rights, or special issues such
as Report of the National Church Arson Task Force.
